To meet the growing demand from international visitors, HCM Cooking Class is hiring full-time staff based in Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City. This position is ideal for individuals eager to enhance their English communication skills, master guest entertainment, and deepen their knowledge of traditional Vietnamese food culture.

- Base Salary: $400 USD / Month (~10,000,000 VND/month)
- Total Estimated Earnings: $400 – $2,000 USD / Month (10,000,000 – 50,000,000 VND)
- Commissions: 1% to 10% based on performance policy
- Experience: No prior experience required (Full training provided)

Detailed Job Responsibilities at HCM Cooking Class
As a core member of our team, you will enjoy a diverse workflow that blends kitchen preparation, guest hosting, vegetable harvesting, and cultural guiding. It is a fantastic match for dynamic individuals who enjoy social interactions and dislike being confined to a desk.
1. Organic Village Tours & Farm Harvesting
Accompany international tourists through Cu Chi organic vegetable gardens. You will introduce organic farming practices, assist guests in harvesting fresh herbs/produce, and explain how these ingredients shape authentic Vietnamese meals.
Sharing basic knowledge about local agriculture, nutrition, and rural Vietnamese customs helps travelers appreciate the farm-to-table origin of their cooking class menu.
2. Hosting Vietnamese Cooking Classes
Instruct foreign participants through step-by-step cooking recipes provided by HCM Cooking Class. Responsibilities include introducing herbs and spices, explaining cutting/cooking steps, demonstrating techniques, and providing cheerful support throughout the workshop.
You do not need to be a executive chef from day one, but enthusiasm for cooking, willingness to learn, and clear communication are crucial for smooth operations.
3. Accompanying Sightseeing Excursions
Assist in guiding travelers on cultural and historic tours beyond the kitchen. Depending on class schedules, destinations include the Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City tours, and Mekong Delta day trips.
This provides an ideal environment to practice real-world conversational English, refine your tour-guiding skills, and interact with global friends.
4. Prep Work & Equipment Maintenance
Set up, inspect, and sanitize kitchen tools and workstations prior to guest arrival. Harvest organic produce from our farm, organize ingredient trays, and ensure clean, orderly kitchen space after sessions end.
High attention to detail, hygiene, and teamwork ensures that every cooking class runs smoothly and safely.

Salary Structure, Bonuses & Employee Benefits
Attractive Income & Compensation Package
- Base Salary: 10,000,000 VND / month (~$400 USD).
- Estimated Total Earnings: 10,000,000 – 50,000,000 VND / month based on performance.
- Sales Commission: 1% to 10% following company policies.
- Performance Cash Bonus: 100,000 – 10,000,000 VND / month based on service attitude and guest feedback.
- Guest Gratuities (Tips): Opportunity to earn tips from international guests (typically 200,000 – 20,000,000 VND / month).
- Annual Increases & Bonuses: 13th-month salary bonus, holiday bonuses, and projected 10% annual base salary increments.
- Insurance Coverage: Full Health & Social Security Insurance provided per statutory regulations.
- Housing & Commute Allowance: 1,000,000 VND / month financial support.
- Meals & Organic Produce: Free lunch provided on duty; complimentary fresh organic vegetables from our farm for family meal preparation.
Overtime Pay & Holiday Rates
Standard working hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. Overtime hours worked past 4:00 PM are compensated at 200% base pay rate. Public holidays and Tet festival shifts are compensated at 300% base pay rate per labor agreement rules.
